Yashasvi Scholarship 2025: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)has been started a beneficial scholarship program for eligible students. This Yashasvi Scholarship 2025 Program’s primary goal is to motivate students to seek technical education in the foundational/ Core areas of technology and engineering. In order to encourage students to pursue engineering education at the diploma and undergraduate levels in the core engineering branches which are crucial to the expansion of manufacturing industries the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced the scholarships under the ‘Young Achievers’ Scholarship and Holistic Academic Skills Venture Initiative (YASHASVI) for 2025. Only students enrolled in degree and diploma programs in core engineering branches are eligible for this scholarship. Yashasvi Scholarship 2025

The Yashasvi Scholarship 2025 program will award 5200 scholarships, of which 2607 are designated for diploma students and 2593 are for degree students. Students pursuing degrees will receive ₹50,000 annually, while those pursuing diplomas will receive ₹30,000 annually. For degree students, this support will last up to four years, and for diploma students, it will last up to three years.

Yashasvi Scholarship Eligibility 2025

  • Must be enrolled in a recognized institution’s first year of a degree or diploma program, or in the second year through lateral entry. The annual income of the applicant’s family shouldn’t be more than ₹800,000.
  • The state or union territory government is required to issue the income certificate. Students transferring to other engineering branches will not be eligible for the scholarship, which is only available for core engineering branches. There shouldn’t be more than two years between passing the qualifying exam and being accepted into the current program.
  • A student from a reserved category will be categorized as general if they are chosen from the general category merit list.

Required documents

How to Apply for Yashasvi Scholarship 2025?

Yashasvi Scholarship 2025 Selection Process

Students at the Degree Level:Students at the diploma level will be chosen based on their performance on the qualifying exam (12th grade). Candidates will be chosen based on their performance on the qualifying exam (12th grade). Only 10% of the seats available in each state will be available for lateral entry, and candidates will be chosen based on their average combined percentage of marks from all six diploma semesters. If, according to the calculation, the number of scholarships awarded in any state is less than 10, at least 10 scholarships will be awarded in that state or territory.

The scholarship recipient will receive annual payment through DBT mode after selection.

  • Students at the diploma level: Students at the diploma level will be chosen based on their merits as qualified (10th grade). If, according to the calculation, the number of scholarships awarded in any state is less than 10, at least 10 scholarships will be awarded in that state or territory. Seats in the open category or vice versa may be assigned if they are not filled in the lateral entry quota. Reservation: In accordance with Indian government regulations. A student will be counted under the General Category if they are in the Reserved Category and also meet the requirements for the General Category merit list of scholarships.

Scholarship Renewal Process

Upon receiving a renewal, the scholarship will be extended for the following academic year by submitting a letter from the institution’s head via the online portal, along with a passing certificate or grade report. The scholarship would be lost if the student did not advance to the next class or level.

  • There should be no more than two years between passing the qualifying exam and being accepted into the degree or diploma program.
  • The student will be considered in the general category if he is chosen from the general category merit list and falls into the reserved category.
  • Only core engineering courses are eligible for the scholarship. The student will lose his scholarship eligibility and be required to reimburse the full amount if he transfers to a different branch.
