Facilities at RDVV Jabalpur 2025
- University Hostels: Located on campus and within walking distance of the teaching departments, the university offers two large hostels, one for boys and one for girls. There are amenities like a dining hall with a television and a fully equipped reading room. A fully functional kitchen that is operated cooperatively is available. On campus, next to the hostel warden/superintendent bungalow is the girls’ hostel.
- Library: Pt. Dwarika Prasad Mishra Central Library is the name of the university’s central library. About 1,80,000 books, more than 8,000 bound volumes of research abstracts and journals, and hard copies of more than 4,000 research degree theses that the university has awarded are all part of its collection. With a database of roughly 30,000 books, 10,000 journals, and 4,000 theses, the university library system is computerized and connected to INFLIBNET. Every area of the library is connected via LAN. - Department of Tribal Studies: The Department of Tribal Studies collaborates closely with the Departments of Ancient History, Economics, Political Science, Law, and Philosophy. The Department, which is unique in India, prepares students for the University’s M.A. (Tribal Studies) and Ph.D. degrees.
- Gandhian Study Center: The Center intends to create short-term course modules in Gandhism that will last roughly a week and serve as an orientation for all university employees and students. To enable Gandhian principles to be profitably applied in real-world scenarios, the Center plans to offer part-time, six-month diploma programs to government officials, corporate executives, NGOs, and university students and instructors.
- The Women Study, Development, and Research Center: It is housed within the university and was founded with the goal of improving the transmission and assimilation of knowledge through fieldwork, research, teaching, and documentation. It accomplishes this by providing advocacy programs, extension activities, research projects, and certificate courses.
- Placement Cell: RDU has a fully operational Placement Cell that trains students in accordance with industry and market demands and makes sure that students graduating from the various university teaching departments are placed appropriately and sensibly.
