All banks were formally instructed by the RBI to submit their application forms for regulatory bodies in the Indian financial sector via the PRAVAAH App. During the press, spoke person told, With effect from May 01, 2025, Regulated Entities are advised to use PRAVAAH for submitting applications for regulatory authorisations, licenses, approvals to the Reserve Bank using the application forms already available in the PRAVAAH Portal RBI.

Entities are using the older method
According to the official statement of the RBI, most of the banks in India and financial agencies have already completed their registration on Pravah website. In the past year, about 4,000 applications have been made through the Parvah portal. However there are still you regulated entities who did not complete the verification and submit the application form for RBI approval on the new Parvah portal. They all are required to complete RBI PRAVAAH Portal registration as the last date of registration has reached on 1st May 2025.

On May 28, 2024, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) introduced the PRAVAAH Portal RBI (Platform for Regulatory Application, Validation and Authorization) portal, a centralized, secure web-based platform.
