I. Senior Secondary School Certificate, or its equivalent, with 50% of the possible points.

III. The ability to instruct in both Hindi and English.

Qualifications for Contractual Teachers at KVS TGT
I. Completing a four-year integrated degree program at the Regional College of Education of NCERT with a minimum of 50% in both the relevant subject and the overall grade.
OR
A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points overall and in the relevant subject, including the following combination:
II.B.Ed. from an accredited university or its equivalent.
III. Must pass the CBSE-conducted Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
Desired qualifications include: Knowledge of computer applications is one of the desired qualifications.
Qualifications for KVS PGT Contract Teachers
I. Two-year integrated postgraduate M.Sc./MA program from NCERT’s Regional College of Education in the relevant field with a minimum cumulative grade of 50%.
OR
Obtain a master’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 50% overall in the following subjects.
II. For all PGT positions above, with the exception of information and technology, a B.Ed. or an equivalent degree from an accredited university is required.
III. Ability to Teach English and Hindi well.
Note: Applicants with a special B.Ed. are not qualified for the PGT position.
